What SAGE is doing as an event to put
sustainability at the heart of it's practices

  • Free water refill stations have been installed across the showground to minimize usage of plastic bottles. Visitors will be encouraged to bring their own bottles
  • All the packaging used by the site catering contractor is compostable.
  • We will actively encourage visitors to attend SAGE using public transport
  • Plastic badge covers will not be used at SAGE 2023
  • Freebies & Flyers will be reduced
  • Signage will be found around the site for best sustainable practices
  • Hired glasses will be used at the networking event instead of single use plastic glasses
  • Beer barrels not bottles
  • Sustainable lanyards
  • Partnered with GRASS, who will advise on tailor made best practices for sustainability for businesses across the industry
  • Cleaning products to be environmentally friendly
